TYPES OF INSPECTIONS

We strongly recommend ordering an inspection for any of these items that apply to your home.

All inspections are paid by buyer upfront with no refund. Surveys are billed after work begins (usually near the closing date), and will be charged to buyer whether or not you close. If you close, the survey will be included in your closing costs. We've included the common price ranges we see to help you budget and plan for upfront costs*

GENERAL HOME INSPECTION

This is the most important inspection for any residential purchase. This is highly recommended

$400 - $450

4-POINT

Required by most Insurance Companies

$90 - $120

WELL INSPECTION

Required for VA loans (if there is a well)

POOL INSPECTION

Recommended if there is a pool

TERMITE (WDO) INSPECTION

A Wood Destroying Organism Inspection is always recommended in Florida. This is Required on all VA loans and some FHA loans.

$100 - $125

WIND-MITIGATION

Required by most Insurance Companies - This can provide discounts towards your policy

$90 - $120

SEPTIC INSPECTION

May be Required for some VA loans (if there is a septic)

$300 - $400

SURVEY

Required for all financed sales (unless lender does not require a clear Form 9 from title)

$600 - $850+
